Welcome to the Stockholm Writers Festival Micro Fiction Contest for 2025! The rules are simple: In max 100 words, tell us a story about the Barum Woman, from the Mesolithic period. (10,000BCE) The figure, crafted by forensic artist Oscar Nilsson, was constructed from one of Sweden’s best-preserved skeletal finds. Note: Your story can be set in any time period. It should be inspired by her face, not the details of her existence. All genres welcome. Multiple entries allowed.
